Tuition Bill
Tuition payment for TAs and AIs
TAs and AIs receive tuition assistance as a part of their compensation.
To be eligible for a TAship or AIship, you must be registered for at least nine credits for the semester (full time).
A credit for 75% of your tuition assistance will be applied to your fee bill if you register before the payment deadline (Tuesday, September 4, 2012 by 5 PM).
You must pay the remaining balance to complete your registration by Tuesday, September 4, 2012 by 5PM, or your registration will be cancelled and you will lose your classes.
You can pay online: How to pay
You will receive the remaining 25% of your tuition assistance in September (less tax withholding).
You may apply for a tuition loan before the deadline on September 4 to cover the tuition payment until the rest of your tuition assistance is paid.
Your registration is not complete until your fee bill has been paid and you confirm your attendance.

Non-resident tuition waiver for TAs, AIs, and GRAs
Graduate student employees (TAs, AIs, and GRAs) who are not residents of Texas must complete a Request for Resident Tuition Entitlement every semester in order to avoid paying tuition at the out-of-state rate.
