You are so "official" that you can get your "high assurance" UT ID card anytime now. The UT ID Center is located in the Flawn Academic Center (FAC) and is open 8:30-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Enter the Flawn Academic Center, FAC, on campus between the Texas Union (UNB) on Guadalupe and the Main Building (MAI) ("The Tower"). Go through a second set of glass doors. The ID Center is at the left end of the Information Desk, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You must show a photo ID: either a driver's license or passport. A $10 fee will be charged for each ID card and must be paid within thirty days at the cashiers in MAI 8, or on the Web by going to the "What Do I Owe?" section of UT Direct.

The UT Shuttle bus system and the entire Austin City bus system, Capital Metro, are free with this UT ID card. With High Assurance EID, you will be able to register online, pay online, get a Tuition Loan online, see your grades online, etc.

Lost/Stolen ID Cards
Individuals who have lost their University ID card or have had it stolen should report it IMMEDIATELY so that it can be deactivated.

There are two options for deactivating ID Cards:

After deactivating the lost or stolen ID, the card holder must come to the ID Center to reactivate the card, should it be found. Otherwise, a replacement ID card may be obtained at the ID Center during normal office hours. Photo identification (driver's license, passport, or government issued ID) is required. A $10 fee will be charged for all replacement cards.
