Congratulations to Professor Michael Winship on being awarded an NEH fellowship!

Professor Winship wins an American Antiquarian Society-NEH fellowship.

The Department of English congratulates Professor Michael Winship, who has won an American Antiquarian Society-NEH long-term fellowship.  Michael will be spending next year at the Society's headquarters in Worcester, Massachusetts, working on his project, "Reaching the Market: Book Distribution in the United States, 1825-1950."

Michael has also won a Houghton Mifflin Fellowship in Publishing History at the Houghton Library at Harvard University, which he will take during the summer.  This fellowship is for the same project.
