The Plan II Honors program welcomes author Salvador Plascencia for a fiction reading and book signing.  Plascencia is the acclaimed author of The People of Paper, a Los Angeles Times Favorite Book and San Francisco Chronicle Book of the Year.

"The People of Paper is a novel like no other . . . Calvino, Borges, and Garcia Marquez will come to mind, but Plascencia's novel is a creature of its own, firmly grounded and soaring at the same time." -T.C. Boyle

Students interested in getting a free book by Plascencia  may write to Matt Valentine to inquire. (Quantities limited.)  This event is free and open to the public.  Please email Matt Valentine for further information
