Biography

I studied Anglophone literature and culture at the University Paris X Nanterre and completed my maîtrise of American literature at the University Paris VII Denis Diderot. In 2008-2009 I spent a year at UT as an exchange student in the English Department. While studying at UT I learned about the French graduate program and the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant and decided to pursue my interest in French literature while acquiring pedagogical skills. In 2012 I earned my MA in French studies here at the University of Texas in Austin. I am now working towards the PhD in French studies focusing on nineteenth century literature and culture.
