Course Description

This course taught in French. In this course we will read major novels, plays and poems dating from the late 18th century to the mid-20th century. We will explore each text for the intellectual and esthetic satisfaction it offers, but also to develop a range of appropriate critical perspectives.

Readings: Chateaubriand, René Camus, L'Etranger Sartre, Huis Clos Duras, Moderato Cantabile Course packet of poems and other selections. To include:
