Course Description
This section of FR 612 (accelerated second-year French) is conceived a combination of FR 312K and FR 312L. Thus, this section will be a four-skills language course using the same materials and methodology as 312K and 312L classes. The basic text follows a narrative (mystery) which takes us to various countries and cities in the French-speaking world. The basic text and ancillary materials help develop the four language skills of reading, writing, speaking and aural comprehension, as well as convey a wealth of historical and contemporary cultural information. Literary selections are included in the text.
