Course Description
The course is taught in French.
In this course we will read fiction, drama and poetry dating from the early 19th century to the mid-20th century. We will explore each text for the intellectual and esthetic satisfaction it offers, but also to develop a range of appropriate critical perspectives.
Grading Policy
Quizzes and participation - 10%
2 papers OR 1 paper and 5 "Notes de lecture" - 30%
2 hour exams - 30%
Final exam - 30%
