Course Description
This course taught in French. In this course we will read major novels, plays and poems dating from the early 19th century to the mid-20th century. We will explore each text for the intellectual and esthetic satisfaction it offers, but also to develop a range of appropriate critical perspectives.

quizzes, assignments, participation - 10% 2 papers - 30% 2 hour exams - 30% final exam - 30%
