FR 120M • ADVANCED PRACTICE IN SPOKEN FRENCH I

Course Description

The goal of this class is to engage students in discussions of current events and cultural and societal issues in France. Students will watch and discuss selected issues in the French news. Each class session consists of small group discussions and class discussions with the instructor. In addition to participation in class discussions, students will also have two mini-presentations, a news report to summarize, and an oral exposé to present at the end of the semester.

This course may not be counted toward the fulfillment of the foreign language requirement for any bachelor's degree.
