Course Description

This section will be a four-skills language course using an intermediate text that follows a narrative (mystery) starting in New Orleans and taking us to various countries and cities in the French-speaking world. The basic text and the use of ancillary materials, including film, help develop the four language skills of reading, writing, speaking and aural comprehension, as well as convey a wealth of historical and contemporary cultural information. Literary selections are included in the text.

Grading Policy

Chapter tests: 50% Compositions: 10% Homework/Quizzes: 25% Attendance/Participation: 10% Presentation: 5% NO final exam.
