Course Description
An introduction to the francophone world outside of France, from historical, geographical, and cultural prespectives. Concentration on Québec, the French Caribbean and Africa.
Grading Policy
quizzes 40% (Writing component 1) paper 40% (Writing component 2) final exam 20%

A packet to be purchased. Short stories or essays by francophone writers from French Canada, the French West Indies, and Africa (North and West Africa); short articles on a handful of francophone countries today.
