Course Description
Emphasis on four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Further development of basic skills with more emphasis on reading and writing. In the first year Italian 506 and 507 students will learn most of the basic grammatical structures of the Italian language. By the end of ITL 507 we expect students to be able to carry on a conversation in Italian with good pronunciation using all verbal tenses and moods. Presentation on modern Italian culture will be included to give a living context for language learning.
