FR 604 • ACCELERATED FIRST-YEAR FRENCH

Course Description

French 604 is a four skills language course in which you will learn about French-speaking cultures around the world, as well as develop the ability to hear, speak, read, and write French. This class is ACCELERATED and covers in one semester the first two beginning French courses (506 and 507) at The University of Texas at Austin. Since lots of material must be learned in one semester, the course is rigorous and may occasionally seem overwhelming. However, instructors will be available to assist all students. We want you to learn as much French as possible and gain the confidence to use what you have learned.
