Jocelyn Wright

Jocelyn completed a BA in French Studies and History at Rice University in May 2011.  As an undergraduate, she wrote a senior honors thesis on the history of mosque construction in France and its impact on the Muslim community. Additionally, she conducted research comparing the working conditions of immigrant domestic workers in Houston, Texas to those living in Paris, France, specifically the efficacy of laws regulating work done within the employer's household.  Her research focuses on Muslim immigration to France, particularly the immigrant experience in contemporary France as well as French and European immigration policy.
