Emilie Destruel, doctoral candidate in Linguistics, was the recipient of the 2011 Texas Exes Teaching Award for a teaching assistant or assistant instructor in the College of Liberal Arts. She received her award in a ceremony at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center on February 8, 2011. Ms. Destruel has taught both in the Department of Linguistics and in the Department of French & Italian.
