Prof. Greg Knapp and TA Jonathan Lowell taught Geography of South America as part of the UT Summer Study Abroad Program in Buenos Aires, Argentina from May to July.  The course introduced students to varied urban issues and landscapes and included field trips to an urban farm, environmental preserves, and street art.  Shown above: the lighthouse atop Barolo Palace, a building constructed around the cosmic symbolism of Dante's Divine Comedy.  Below: students learning about the Costañera Sur ecological reserve.
