Diana K. Davis has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Charles A. Ryskamp Fellowship for 2007-2010.

Awarded by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the American Council for Learned Societies, these two fellowships provide Dr. Davis the opportunity to conduct research for her new book "Imperialism and Environmental History in the Middle East" (Cambridge University Press). This is the first Ryskamp awarded at the University of Texas.
