Award of Distinction Certificates
Beginning in December 2002, students who graduate with a BA in Geography and nothing less than a "B" in their track classes will be eligible to receive an "Award of Distinction" certificate from the Department. The tracks include: Geographic Information Science; Cultural Geography; Environmental Resource Management; General Geography; The City; Earth Science; Global, International, and Regional Studies; and Landscape Ecology and Biogeography. Nothing less than a "B" can be made in the 9 additional track hours in order to qualify for the certificate. See the undergraduate advisor for approved track courses.
Please make an appointment with the undergraduate advisor in Geography during your graduating semester to determine your eligibility and apply for the Award of Distinction.
