Dr. Cavalli-Björkman has a Ph.D. from Stockholm University and has taught at Stockholm University and been Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts in Washington D.C. A member of the Swedish Academy of Science, she has arranged exhibitions on subjects as diverse as women artists in Sweden, Rococo art, Cranach, and turn-of-the-century Scandinavian painting.
