Werner G. Jeanrond is the author of Theological Hermeneutics (1991), Guds närvaro (The Presence of God, 1998) and Gudstro (Belief in God, 2001). Currently professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Lund, he received the Ph.D. in theology from the University of Chicago in 1984, and taught at the University of Dublin from 1981 to 1994. He has held visiting appointments at the Universities of Chicago, Uppsala, and Copenhagen, and was a fellow at the Danish Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities in 2002-2003. "Love in Sweden" draws on his current project, "Towards a New Theology of Love."
