Study Abroad Preparation in German Speaking Countries Workshop

Du gehst nach Deutschland, Österreich oder in die Schweiz? Feel like some more preparation would be good? Join the  Study Abroad Preparation workshop!

The purposes of this workshop include:

• Discussing expections for the first week abroad
• Practing real life situations that are likely to be encountered
• Answer individual and general questions

This workshop is designed to effectively help the participants prepare for living in German speaking cultures during their stay abroad experiences using student-centered activities.

Topics that will be covered include:

• How to open a bank account
• What questions to expect in a grocery store, bakery, etc.
• What to buy and where
• Traveling by train and othe transportation
• Housing
• Cell phones
• Where to go with FAQ
• and more.

There will be students with previous experience in German speaking cultures to answer questions. A Q&A session will also be held.
