This tragicomedy introduces the topic of guest workers arriving in Germany (first in 1955).

Due to economic difficulties, an Italian Family moves to Germany in the 1960s and starts to make a living in Western Germany. The film thematizes the complicated family relations (father-son, brother-brother) that evolve as the story unfolds. Subtitles: only German!
