The season finale of the German-Texan Heritage Society's Speaker Series will occur on Sunday, May 18 at 3:00 pm at the Society's headquarters, the German Free School building, 507 E. 10th St, Austin. The guest speaker will be Chris Oelkers, Organist and Associate Music Director at St. Louis Catholic Church in Austin.
Chris will be discussing the development of 20th Century German organ music complete with musical examples. The lecture is free and a reception follows the presentation.
