Cinematic Responses to RAF - Terrorism
At a costume party, Katharina meets Ludwig, with whom she falls in love at once and spends the night. The next morning, the police busts into her apartment looking for Ludwig: a wanted terrorist. While he is already gone, Katharina is arrested and suspected to be a terrorist herself. Meanwhile, a sleazy reporter exaggerates Katharina’s story in the press and portrays her as a dangerous criminal, too. With the fear-induced public thinking she is a Communist and terrorist sympathizer, Katharina receives hate mail and personal threats until she is finally driven over the edge.
This film will be shown with English subtitles.
