Cinematic Responses to RAF - Terrorism
Die Dritte Generation is a black comedy criticizing the third generation of RAF terrorists that seem to have lost every contact to reality. Consequently, the film portrays terrorists and their actions, but also their victims in a grotesque way. Yet while ridiculously funny at times, the movie never loses its critical voice and questions the violent, political reality of Germany at the time
