Language Contact Phenomena in the Speech and Writing of Trilingual Children and Adolescents: Studies of the Development of Turkish, German, and English in Berlin
Dr. Carol Pfaff will discuss several of her empirical studies on the language development of children and adolescents with Turkish migration background. This presentation will examine research issues and provide an overview of findings of the development of Turkish and German preschool and primary school children and from an ongoing bi-national study on Turkish, German and English of secondary school adolescents.
