Viking Invasion at the Austin Celtic Festival

Celtic Music FestivalFrom Michael Sweet: Viking Invasion is going to be at the Austin Celtic Festival. Viking Invasion stages dramatic battles using steel weapons and period armor, as well as having displays where we educate the public about Viking culture and history.

At the Austin Celtic Festival there will be Celtic Music, food, Beer, shopping, the Highland Games, dog sheparding trials, kilts, BEER, and much more. We will be doing 2 fight shows a day and will have an encampment. Come out and see glorious battle!! If you haven't seen us do battle before now is your chance! Floorball is going strong here in Austin. Join us weekly for a friendly pick-up game. The first time you play it's FREE! Afterwards the per session cost is only $5. Please join us for dances from Scandinavia featuring fun turns, unusual figures, and fabulous music. Teaching: Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:30 - 8:15 pm, with reviews of taught dances on the other nights. No partners needed, as we share partners throughout the evening.
