Marc Pierce wins Summer Research Assignment Grant
For Work on Early Germanic Languages

The Summer Resarch Assignments are the most significant grants available to tenure-track faculty on the campus, awarded by a faculty committee appointed by the Office of the Vice-Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies.
Pierce will be supported for two month's summer work in 2009 on his project on "Syllable Stucuture and Sievers' Law in the Early Germanic Languages."
