Course Description
Fulfills first half of legislative requirement for 6 hours of American government. This course satisfies the first half of the legislative requirement for 6 hours of American government. It is intended to be an introduction to the study of American government and political science. We will focus on how political institutions are designed and work and how ordinary citizens experience American politics ad how they matter in political processes. Throughout, we will be concerned with how we know what we know about politics-distinguishing the tales of pundits from the work of scholars.
