Course Description
The seminar consists of reading and discussion about the basic terms of political discourse, and is intended for graduate students in the Department of Government who are not specializing in political theory. Subjects include truth and politics, history and politics, patriotism, nationalism, freedom, equality, justice, toleration, tradition, legitimacy, democracy, and war.
