Course Description
If you are a news addict and can't get enough news - or, if you never seem to have enough time to read or watch the news - then this could be the course for you. You will be reading, listening, and watching the news daily - and getting credit for it!
This course has two main goals: (1) To introduce you to the subject of public policy through the analysis of current events, and (2) to provide you with a set of analytical tools that will enable you to analyze policy problems and disputes from the local to the global level - tools that you can also use to analyze a wide variety of other problems.

Four Tests (90%) (30 points each; lowest test score will be dropped) Attendance (10 points)
