Course Description
This course is designed as a general overview of politics in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore since 1960, with some additional historical background. Roughly 50% of the course will be on Indonesia, with about 30% on Malaysia and 20% on Singapore. The basic requirements will be attendance and participation, substantial readings, several unannounced in-class quizzes, an in-class midterm, and a final exam.
