Course Description

Fulfills first half of legislative requirement for 6 hours of American government. This course introduces students to the institutions and processes of American government, concluding with a wide-ranging discussion of recent issues in American public policy. The primary focus of the course is on the national level, but it also examines theTexas state political system.

Grading Policy

Tentative: 3 in-class exams (20% each) Final Exam (40%)
