GOV 324J • Governments and Politics of Eastern Europe

Course Description

This course is designed to introduce the advanced undergraduate student to the politics of Eastern Europe from 1945 to the present. The course is fairly evenly divided between a discussion of the communist period and a through examination of post-socialist democratic transition and consolidation.
