Upper-division standing required. Course number may be repeated for credit when the topics vary. This course takes an in-depth look at lawmaking in the modern Congress. Systematically, we will analyze various factors influencing the legislative process including presidents, the public, parties, and pivots. We will also examine explanations for the legislative process.
