The Center for Politics and Governance is hosting a conference on “Money and Politics,” consisting of morning (9:45 am) and afternoon (1:30 pm) panels, and a lunch (12:00-1:15). The keynote/lunch speaker is Matthew Petersen, Vice-Chairman of the Federal Election Commission. Panelists include Kirk Rudy, Deputy National Finance Chair for the Democratic National Committee, Henry Bonilla, former U.S. Congressman, and Meredith McGehee, Policy Director for the Campaign Legal Center.

Government Department Professors Brian Roberts, Daron Shaw, and Scott Powe will be participating in the morning session. It is open to all University of Texas faculty, staff, and students, and is free of charge (including the lunch, so long as you RSVP and space is available).
