The Texas Politics Speaker Series launches its 2011-2012 season with "The Texas Press on the Perry Candidacy," a discussion with Jason Embry of the Austin American-Statesman, Christy Hoppe of the Dallas Morning News, and Jay Root of the Texas Tribune. These three veteran reporters will share their observations on the governor’s quest for the GOP presidential nomination, talk about their experiences on the road with the Governor, and take questions from the audience.
