Christophe Roux is an Associate Professor of political science at the University of Montpellier 1 (Department of Political Science, where he serves as academic coordinator for international relations) and a researcher at the South European Center for Political Studies (CEPEL-CNRS). In Montpellier he teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including in the French and English-speaking Master program in Comparative Politics and Public Policy.
He holds a bi-national Ph.D. in political science from the Universities of Siena, Italy and Lille, France (2005). He has taught political science in France (Lille Institute of Political Studies), Italy (University of Siena where he is a research associate at the Center for the Study of Political Change, Institute for the International Education of Students in Siena) and Spain (as a visiting professor at the Univiersities of Salamanca and Granada).
