Research interests:
Ami Pedahzur is an associate professor at the Departments of Government and Middle Eastern Studies, University of Texas at Austin. His main fields of interest are terrorism, counterterrorism and political extremism. Pedahzur serves as associate editor of the journal Studies in Conflict and Terrorism.

Recent Publications:
His book, The Israeli Secret Services and the Struggle Against Terrorism will be published by Columbia University Press in 2009. He has published in journals such as Social Forces, Social Science Quarterly, Political Studies, Party Politics, Armed Forces and Society, Deviant Behavior, Studies in Conflict and Terrorism and Terrorism and Political Violence.
