Texas Politics Speaker Series Presents: A Conversation with Sasha Issenberg

Sasha Issenberg
The Texas Politics Speaker Series welcomes Sasha Issenberg to the University of Texas for a conversation about his recent book The Victory Lab on Thursday, October 25, at 3:30 PM in Gebauer 3.312.

In The Victory lab, which Politico described as "Moneyball for politics," Sasha Issenberg tells the story of insights from behavioral psychology and political science on contemporary campaigning. Issenberg is the "Victory Lab" columnist for Slate and the Washington correspondent for Monocle, where he covers politics, business, diplomacy, and culture. He covered the 2008 election as a national political reporter in the Washington bureau of The Boston Globe, and his work has also appeared in Politico, New York, The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Monthly, Inc., The Atlantic, Boston, Philadelphia, and George, where he served as a contributing editor.

The Texas Politics Speaker Series is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. The event will be filmed for use on the Texas Politics Project website, and attendance implies consent to be included in video footage.
