Eligibility

If you are currently enrolled in the Department of Government Graduate Program, you are eligible to use the Placement Service. Once you accept a tenure track position, you are no longer eligible to use the department's service. You will need use a private placement service for your future job applications.

If you accept a job that is not a tenure track position, you are allowed to use the placement service for one year after your graduation. After that time, you will need to use a private placement service for your future job applications.

Use of the Department of Government Placement Service is also dependent on your progress towards your degree.

For 12 months following graduation, alumni are eligible for the Credentials Service.
