Stauffer Paper Nominated for Okin-Young Award

Dana Stauffer's paper, "Aristotle's Account of the Subjection of Women," has been nominated for the Okin-Young Award in Feminist Political Theory. The winner will be determined this summer and recognized at the 2009 American Political Science Association annual meeting.

Barany Awarded 2008-09 Peace Fellowship

Zoltan Barany has been reappointed by the Hoover Institution as a 2008-09 W. Glenn Campbell and Rita Ricardo-Campbell National Fellow and the Susan Louise Dyer Peace Fellow. Barany is currently writing a 28-case comparative study about building democratic armies.

James Henson was quoted today in a New York Times article about the current political landscape in Texas. Henson manages Texas Politics, the Liberal Arts Instructional Technology Services' multimedia textbook, and coordinates the Department of Government's Internship Program.
