Robert Moser Receives the Harry Ransom Award for Exellence in Teaching

Professor Robert Moser has been awarded the 2008 Harry Ransom Award for Excellence in Teaching. The award is given annually to one faculty member in the College of Liberal Arts. Professor Moser has taught at UT since 1995 and has also won the President’s Associates Teaching Excellence Award in 2002 and was named the 2005 William D. Blunk Memorial Professor for his commitment to teaching, advising, and student service to undergraduates. Moser, who received his PhD from University of Wisconsin, studies Russian politics and democratization. He was Undergraduate Adviser until 2007 and now serves as Graduate Adviser and Associate Chair for the Government Department. He is also affiliated with the Center of Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies.
