Course Description
This course is designed to provide a history of Western Europe from the origins of Christianity until the fifteenth century. Because the course covers such a long period of time, it cannot provide more than an overview of the subject matter. The course is not, however, simply a political survey. Social, cultural, economic, religious, intellectual and legal developments are also covered as much as possible.
