Course Description
A lecture and discussion course on the American Revolution and the creation of the United States. Topics include: colonial society in mid-eighteenth century, the French and Indian war, the origins of the Revolution, the War for Independence, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution, the launching of the national government, and the beginnings of American party politics.
Grading Policy
midterms, 25% each final exam, 50%
