Course Description

This class will use the lens of beauty culture to examine ideas about race and This course will provide an introduction to the major themes, issues, and debates in African American History and Culture from its African roots to the contemporary era.

Designed to accommodate 100 or more students. Course number may be repeated for credit when the topics vary. Partially fulfills legislative requirement for American history.
