Prof. David M. Oshinsky
Professor David M. Oshinksy will give a talk titled, "The Future of Capital Punishment in America," based on his latest book, Capital Punishment on Trial: Furman v. Georgia and the Death Penality in Modern America (University Press of Kansas, April 2010).
Oshinsky is the Jack S. Blanton Sr. Chair Professor in the Department of History.
He is the 2006 Pulitzer Prize Winner in History and recipient of the 2009 Cartwright Prize from Columbia University Medical Center.
