The Student Council on Re-thinking Diplomacy, in conjunction with the campus-wide Rethinking Diplomacy Project, presents:“Development DiplomacyInventing & Reinventing the International NGO”

Panelists include:

  • Dr. Stephen Porter – Assistant Professor of History at the University of Cincinnati and Institute for Historical Studies Visiting Research Fellow. Porter's forthcoming book is entitled, A Benevolent Empire? Refugees, NGOs, and the American State.
  • Stephanie Majerowicz- African Affairs Analyst at the Center for Global Development in Washington, D.C.
  • Todd G. Smith – Ph.D. student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs whose work focuses on environmental change and sustainable development in Africa
