Emilio Zamora, IHS Fellow and Professor of History, is the author of several works, including Claiming Rights and Righting Wrongs in Texas, Mexican Workers and Job Politics during World War II (Texas A&M University Press, 2009), The World of the Mexican Worker in Texas (Texas A&M University Press, 1993), and El Movimiento Obrero Mexicano en el Sur de Texas, 1900-1920 (Secretaría de Educación Pública, 1986). His current research interests include the history of Mexicans in the United States and their relationship with Mexico, oral history, the history of the U.S. working class, Texas history, and the archival enterprise in Texas and northern Mexico.
